八王子の黄色いバラ

アメリカ南部で歌われるアメリカ民謡
「テキサスの黄色いバラ（The Yellow Rose of Texas）」。
この曲がこの真っ黄色のバラを見たときに頭の中に流れました。
僕が知っている「テキサスの黄色いバラ」は
エルヴィス・プレスリーが歌ってるやつ。

それにしてもこの黄色いバラの
自己主張は強烈ですね、
写真に収めずにはいられませんでした。

テキサスと言えば、テキサス・レンジャーズのダルビッシュ！
この間ちょうど昼休みでノーヒットノーランを逃した
瞬間を見てました。メチャメチャ残念です。
でも、圧倒的なピッチングでしたね。
間違いなく金田や稲尾、江夏、江川卓たちを超えた
歴代最高の日本人投手でしょう。

of USA. "The Yellow Rose of Texas." When I met this bright
yellow roses, I visualized this melody in my heart. In my
case, it was the Elvis Presley's one.

Anyway, the self-assertion of this yellow flower is shocking.

Speaking of Texas, Yu Darvish, Texas Rangers! Few days
ago, I watched the morment on TV at lunch time he went
wrong to be no-hitter. That's too bad! However, his pitching
was great. I have no doubt he become No.1 pitcher during
all Japanese baseball history, exceeding other legends like
Masaichi Kaneda, Kazuhisa Inao, Yutaka Enatsu, Suguru
Egawa and so on. Darvish would be the best now indeed.
